7. Paté Paté

Image
A rustic French restaurant in the heart of Kødbyen, Paté Paté offers a unique dining experience with its distinct look and innovative takes on traditional French cuisine. The restaurant is unlike any other, filled with old candles, bronze pipes, and wooden tables, all contributing to its charming vibe. Situated in the old meatpacking district, Kødbyen, the restaurant's location adds a special charm. It wouldn't surprise me if Paté Paté used to be a butcher shop, as it certainly gives off that vibe. Upon entering, you'll be intrigued by the antique furniture and eclectic decor. The food at Paté Paté never disappoints, with a menu that always features something new and exciting. You're almost certain to be pleasantly surprised by your order. Paté Paté is an awesome spot for lunch or dinner if you're looking for interesting food in a captivating setting.

6. Halifax Trianglen

Image
A simple yet effective cozy burger joint! Halifax Trianglen might not be the most creative restaurant in the world, but they make burgers that pretty much everyone will enjoy, and they do it well. This laid-back burger joint has a relaxed atmosphere and is never too full, so you can sit and enjoy your meal without distractions. When you walk into Halifax, you'll be greeted by a waiter and then shown to a table. There's a large bar right by the entrance that serves a variety of cocktails and other alcoholic beverages. The interior features green decor, which, in my opinion, adds to the coziness. The menu offers a wide range of burgers, from Mexican-inspired options to a burger named after Copenhagen, ensuring there's something for everyone. Halifax Trianglen is a great choice if you're looking for delicious burgers in a laid-back setting.

5. La Neta

Image
An authentic Mexican restaurant with a charming old-school cantina vibe and unlimited salsa! La Neta is a delightful little spot in Nørrebro that offers genuine Mexican dishes such as tacos, quesadillas, tacos grandes, frijoles, and much more. As soon as you walk through the glass doors, you'll see a counter with an open kitchen behind it, where the chefs (who look very Mexican, which is always a good sign when tacos are on the menu!) prepare your food. You'll also find a bar serving a variety of Mikkeller beers and Mexican-inspired cocktails, surrounded by benches where you can sit and enjoy your meal. There are free refills on any sauce of your choice, as well as garnishes like onions and cilantro. La Neta has a cozy and laid-back atmosphere, making it perfect for a quick bite, especially if you're craving Mexican food!

4. Seoul Korean BBQ Nordhavn

Image
A Korean all-you-can-eat restaurant with robot waiters, located in the brand-new part of Copenhagen: Nordhavn. If that doesn't pique your interest, I don't know what will! Seoul Korean BBQ Nordhavn always excites me. As soon as you step through the motion-sensor doors, you're greeted by the tantalizing aroma of Korean food and the sound of people laughing while cooking their own meals on the grills embedded in each table. Once seated, a (human) waiter will provide you with an iPad to order a variety of dishes, ranging from Korean fried chicken to pork belly, which you can cook yourself on the grill. Perhaps the coolest feature of this place is that robots deliver the food to your table! Seoul Korean BBQ Nordhavn creates a unique dining experience rather than just a meal, making it a perfect place to bring friends for a fun and memorable time. That's why it's on my list of the coziest restaurants in Copenhagen.

3. Le Saint Jacques

Image
Le Saint Jacques might be the best French restaurant in Copenhagen, offering the perfect combination of coziness and exceptional traditional French food. This charming restaurant is full of character, reminiscent of the South of France. Recently renovated and expanded, Le Saint Jacques now accommodates even more guests eager to enjoy their delightful French cuisine. Located on Sankt Jakobs Plads, the restaurant is perfectly situated to catch the sun, creating an inviting and joyful atmosphere. During the summer, you'll find people laughing, enjoying their meals, and maybe even singing! Inside, the restaurant features small tables, cozy candles, and a homey white and green color scheme. All these elements contribute to making Le Saint Jacques a pleasant place to enjoy lunch or dinner when you're in the mood for traditional French food.

2. Madklubben Østerbro

Image
Looking for the best place to hold a cozy party? Madklubben Østerbro is a large restaurant that manages to maintain coziness in every corner. The restaurant features various dining areas, including a room you can rent for special events (I held my confirmation there), a spacious main dining area, an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs in action, and an open balcony that is especially pleasant during the summer. The menu is a delightful mix of cuisines from around the world, with a strong emphasis on French-inspired dishes such as moules-frites and onion soup. The menu changes seasonally, focusing on the freshest ingredients and the most popular dishes. In my opinion, Madklubben Østerbro is perfect if you're unsure what you want to eat but still want a guaranteed great meal in a homey and cheerful atmosphere.

1. Bæst

Image
Bæst is a wonderful Italian restaurant with a modern and environmentally friendly twist. Situated on Guldbergsgade, it is one of the coziest places I have ever been. If you come to Guldbergsgade during the summer, you will first be struck by the inviting and friendly atmosphere. You'll see people laughing and sitting on benches, enjoying craft beer from the brewery next door or indulging in charcuterie and wonderful pizza from Bæst. When you step in, you'll see their cozy bar and wood-fired pizza ovens, which I am amazed by every time I go. In the back, you'll also see a cooler for their meats made out of glass, and waiters gently cutting pieces of cold cuts. The waiters are extremely friendly and all speak English because most of them are from other countries. The menu is rather simple but has all you need. I would recommend that you start off with the large charcuterie that comes with their freshly made cheeses from their own farm, and also an assortment of cold cuts, wit...
